THE POOL MARBELLA - HOUSE RULES
Operating Hours:
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 pm. We are closed on local Marbella & Spanish National holidays that fall on weekdays.
General Rules:
The following rules are mandatory for all Coworking users to ensure the smooth operation of the premises, promote a respectful environment, and maintain the facilities. Acceptance of these rules is a prerequisite for using the facilities.
Definitions:
Pool House Marbella S.L. will be referred to as "Co-working" or "The Pool Marbella."
Members, Guests, Visitors, Contractors, and Event Attendees will be referred to as "Users" or "Clients."
Access:
Non-Private Office & Non-Fixed Desk Members may not enter the premises outside the established operating hours.
Behavior and Conduct:
- In the coworking space, we expect users to exercise common sense: Be polite and respectful to your colleagues. Unprofessional or malicious behavior will not be tolerated.
- Respect others and their differences. We are a diverse group, a Community, and we expect users with various backgrounds.
- Respect the space. Clean up any rubbish or mess you create and leave the area as you found it.
- Users must adhere to conventional personal hygiene standards. Anyone who does not will not be granted access.
Visitors:
External visitors must check in at the reception desk and avoid interfering with or interrupting the work of other users. They should use designated common spaces, such as meeting rooms or the event space.
Responsibility for Damages:
Users are responsible for any damage caused to the coworking space, its furniture, or installations due to misuse or irresponsible behavior.
Cleanliness:
The coworking space is cleaned daily by an external cleaning company, but users are expected to pick up after themselves and clean up any mess they make during their time in the co-working space.
Storage:
Lockers in the Fixed Desk room are available for storing personal belongings, except food.
Liability:
The Pool Marbella is not responsible for the personal belongings of users nor are belongings allowed to be left in the co-working space overnight.
Legal Use:
Your activities within The Pool Marbella must be legal.
Member’s Kitchen Etiquette:
When using The Pool’s Members Kitchen utensils (glasses, cups, plates, microwaves, etc.), please wash and put them away or place them in the dishwasher after use.
Restroom Etiquette:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restrooms.
Noise Levels:
- The only acceptable means of taking calls, listening to music, or playing sound in the coworking area is with headphones, to avoid disturbing others.
- No shouting or speaking loudly inside the coworking space.
- Keep your phone on silent or vibrate mode. If you receive a call within a shared workspace such as FlexDesk or FixedDesk, please step outside to answer it.
Food and Drink:
- Food may only be consumed in the Members Kitchen or our Members Café. Eating is not permitted in shared workspaces or meeting rooms.
- Use coasters when bringing drinks into meeting rooms, phone booths/rooms, or coworking areas.
Internet Usage:
To ensure a stable and efficient internet connection for all members, excessive or disproportionate use of the Wi-Fi, such as large downloads, streaming, or activities that consume significant bandwidth, is not permitted. Members who require high bandwidth for specific tasks should contact management to discuss potential solutions or alternative arrangements. Continuous overuse may result in limited access or additional charges.
Pets:
Pets (under 12 kg) are only allowed in Private Offices. They must be well-behaved, maintain high hygiene standards, and not interfere with the regular day-to-day operations of the coworking space. The Pool Marbella reserves the right to admit your pet into the coworking space.
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed inside the building. Please use the common ashtray on the terrace and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground or over the terrace fence.
Safety:
Although coworking is not an extreme sport, a first aid kit is available at reception in case of any mishap.
Right of Admission:
The Pool Marbella reserves the right of admission. If there are signs of drunkenness, violent or rude behavior, inappropriate or offensive clothing, you may be denied entry to the coworking space.
Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute between two or more Clients, a person in charge of the coworking space will act as an arbitrator and mediator. All Clients involved agree to accept the decision made by the arbitrator. Any Client who does not accept the decision may be expelled from the coworking space without the right to appeal or compensation of any kind.
THE POOL MARBELLA - MEETING ROOM RULES
- Please ensure you vacate the room at the end of your allocated booking time, as we may have other bookings scheduled immediately after yours.
- You may extend your booking within the last 15 minutes if there are no immediate bookings following yours. Otherwise, we may need to move you to another room, if available.
- Our interactive screens and their accessories are subject to availability. If available, we can provide you with an HDMI and/or USB-C cable(s) if you prefer not to use the wireless option.
- The Pool Marbella is not responsible for personal belongings left behind by users.
- Users are responsible for any damage caused to the meeting rooms, including furniture and installations, due to misuse or irresponsible behavior.
- If there are any spills or stains on furniture or carpets, please alert a staff member as soon as possible.
- Each meeting room has a maximum capacity. Please do not exceed this number when booking.
- Our staff are here to assist with any technical difficulties you may encounter.
- Food consumption is prohibited inside the meeting rooms, including food purchased both inside and outside the coworking space.
- You can order coffee for your meeting from the Members Café. Please bring it to your meeting room yourself and use a coaster.
- Special coffee break requests for more than 4 people require a minimum of 4 business days' notice to arrange.
- If you wish to book a meeting room on a weekend, we require a minimum booking of 4 hours, with full payment and confirmation at least 1 week in advance. Weekend bookings are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Please respect the space and leave it as you found it.
